We have our first round of In-Season updates from the players themselves. Melinda Laudon is writing for Girls Basketball, Greg Von Ruden for Boys Basketball, Joey Riedel for Wrestling, Tyler Torkelson for Hockey and Hannah Dvorak for the Dance Team.


Girls Basketball

How is the season going for you girls?

We improved in different area of the game, like rebounding and steal. We are working hard to improve our record.

What team goals do you have for the remainder of the season?

For the remainder of the season, some goals we have are to rebound better, get some more points off of transition and increase points off of steals.


Boys Basketball

How is the season going for you guys?

So far, this season hasn't been going as well as we hoped. We have hit a couple bumps but we are getting past those and playing with what we get. We are continuing to get better every game and have a lot of season left.

What team goals do you have for the remainder of the season?

Come together more as a team, continue to get better and play well. We have got a young team with some pretty decent talent. So I won't be surprised to end the season playing well.


Hockey

How is the season foing for the team so far?

We have a lot of seniors and freshman. We hit a tough spot in the road, but the team is coming together and thinks are looking up.

What team goals do you have for the remainder of the season?

We are pretty much out of the conference title race, so we are trying to get a good seed and make a run in the playoffs.


Dance Team

How is the season going for so far?

Our team has been really fun this season. We all get along great and have had a few good performances so far.

What team goals do you have for the remainder of the season?

We hope to come up with some new and entertaining routines to perform at the halftime show throughout the remainder of the basketball season.


Wrestling Team

How is the season going for the wrestlers?

We had 3 bi-state place winners, Jaysen Sargent 5th, Roger Stahl and Joey Riedel. We have been doing very good overall with alot of kids having positive records.

What team goals do you have for the remainder of the season?

We would like to have alot of conference place winners and try to put some kids through to state.
